I may have a problem…
The newest member of the family; purchased online in 2025. Harley Benton is an inexpensive brand sold by Thomann in Germany. Very highly rated, and so far I dig it. I always wanted a fretless and when these were back in stock I snapped one up. Now has a set of LaBella Deep Talkin' Flatwound strings on it.
Custom built by Hembry Guitars. The Camarojuana doubleneck. Purchased from Hembry Guitars in the early 2000's
The Jägernäut. Another Hembry custom, upgraded with Stonewall custom pickup. Purchased somewhere around 2006, or... ah hell, who knows any more. LOL
Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat 12 String. Purchased online sometime in the early 2010's. I love me some Rancid so this was an obvious choice for me.
Homemade from Warmoth parts 5 string bass. Heavy, heavy, heavy bass. Custom Stonewall pickup and the pick guard and pickup cover were custom made by Scott at Stonewall.
Schecter Diamond Series Custom 6 bass purchased at Daddy's Junky Music in Portsmouth NH. Year long forgotten, but just before the store closed.
Schecter Diamond Series 8 String Bass. I don't remember where I bought this one... or when. But I do love it. Someday I may get myself a dUg Pinnick 12 String Bass. Dare to dream.
Ibanez Jem Jr. The budget version of Steve Vai's signature guitar. It goes without saying I'm no shredder but I wanted something with a tremolo. And, you know, it just looks friggin' cool!
The Journey travel guitar in Yosemite National Park, with El Capitan in the background through the tree.
Cheap-ass mandolin purchased from the evil Amazon. Really just wanted to see if I could learn how to play the mando so I picked up this $100 thing. Tough to tune, not great sound quality but a good place to learn.
Journey Instruments OF412 travel acoustic. It goes in the overhead bin when I travel for work. Detachable neck and yet somehow the damn thing holds a tune exceptionally well.
